About Dave

DY Consulting LLC is led by Founder and Principal Consultant David Younce,

a seasoned strategic leader with deep experience across educational, nonprofit,

and private-sector organizations. Dave provides hands-on partnership to leaders

and boards - helping them solve complex challenges, strengthen systems, and

chart purposeful paths forward.

With experience spanning the classroom to the boardroom, Dave served for eight years as a Superintendent of Schools and was named Vermont Superintendent of the Year (2021) while also serving as President of the Vermont Superintendents Association. He later led a Washington, D.C.-based government contracting firm as Chief of Staff, Chief Operating Officer, and Acting CEO, guiding the company through a period of growth and operational transformation.

Today, as a consultant, Dave draws on this diverse background to help mission-driven organizations navigate complexity and change. Every engagement is collaborative, context-driven, and tailored to client needs - delivered in person or virtually with a focus on clarity, alignment, and measurable progress.
